Customer Services Administrator - London

Davy’s Wine Merchants are seeking an Administrator to join their Wholesale customer services team based in Greenwich.

The role will provide first class administrative and customer service support for the wholesale team with primary responsibility for inbound order processing. The role requires a capable, level-headed team player with advanced administration, communication, customer service and IT skills. We are seeking a positive and energetic person with a hands-on approach, a keen eye for detail and an interest in wine. It can be fast-paced at times so ideally you’ll enjoy multi-tasking and work well under pressure.

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics/ Navision or similar ERP is desirable although full training will be given to the right candidate. An understanding of fine wine and private cellars (certificates, duty, handling, bonded warehouse and VAT) advantageous.

The position is full time, 40 hours a week Monday to Friday (occasional weekends may be required) and available for an immediate start.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Sales order processing using Microsoft Dynamics (Bevica/Navision)
  • Delivering key administrative tasks, first class customer service and sales support requests in an accurate and timely manner
  • Booking couriers and communicating with warehouse and logistics team to schedule deliveries
  • Monitoring courier delivery status, liaising with couriers regarding delivery issues, rebooking where required
  • Fielding phone calls and inbound emails internally and externally
  • Raising invoices, credits and statements and liaising with finance
  • Maintaining customer pricing and keeping the ERP /CRM system up to date with all customer details
  • Assisting in any administrative task set including use of Excel spreadsheets and data processing
  • General administration, cross departmental cover and assistance when required especially at Christmas

SKILLS

  • Excellent communication both verbal and written
  • Impeccable customer service skills
  • Minimum 1 year experience in similar role
  • Keen eye for detail and accuracy essential
  • Ability to prioritise and able to work under pressure
  • Excellent time management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft package
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Comprehensive wine knowledge advantageous
