About the job

We’re looking for someone to join our Northern Sales Team who would relish the opportunity to grow and activate out brands in the on-trade across the Greater Manchester region. We believe the business has a huge year ahead and so we’re looking for the right person to hit the ground running and shout from the rooftops about our collection of amazing brands.

Job role: Business Development Manager – Greater Manchester

Your raison d’etre? Ultimately this is expanding our brands footprint across the region. To achieve this there are a number of key metrics:

· Connecting with as many venues as possible across the patch and introducing them to the Mangrove portfolio. One day this might be visiting a 5* hotel in the City centre, the next a dive bar with neon lights and a sticky floor.

· Collaborating with the trade to activate our brands, bringing them to life and driving rate of sale. This can be anything from arranging a small A5 menu activation to helping plan and execute an all-out Day of the Dead bonanza.

· Working within commercial parameters to negotiate the best brand visibility in venues, ensuring the best return for the business. Showing them why our drinks deserve the spotlight and negotiation the best brand deals possible.

· Delivering engaging training and education sessions across our portfolio to ensure their fantastic stories are spread far and wide.

· Following business procedures professionally and promptly, ensuring work is completed to the highest possible standard and that you are representing the company to the highest possible standard at all times, (not quite as thrilling but equally important).

About You

You’ll be perfect for the job if you:

· Are a self-starter with a hunger to succeed. Clichés aside, the people who really thrive in this role are those hungry to get out there and tell our brands stories.

· Have a passion for spirits and a thirst, (sorry), to learn more about the industry. Ultimately, people want to work with people that rally care about what they do so that passion for the industry is key.

· Have strong communication skills, happy to walk in somewhere and chat about our brands and what makes them unique.

· Love collaborating with a team but are also happy to go it alone .
