Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company (CMBC) is one of the leading, historic brewers in the UK. Formed out of a joint venture between Carlsberg UK and Marston’s PLC, we combine over 300 years of shared values, history, and heritage in UK brewing. We are now recruiting for a Training Coordinator – Learning & Development to join us.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure that employees receive required compliance and regulatory training through effective reporting on plans and delivery, managed through supporting the leading department
  • Support the delivery of the Brewery strategy through effective Capability Development Programme in Packaging/B&P, working alongside Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) and assessors ensuring clarity of gaps (Skill Matrix) to transfer to Individual Development Plans (IDP’s)
  • Support the accessibility and visibility of Standard Documents (e.g. SOP’s) and priority workflows to the teams
  • Coordinating training sessions, workshops and seminars, as necessary, to ensure employees acquire the skills and knowledge
  • Develop and implement onboarding programs in integrate new hires, inc. Apprentices
  • Work closely with wider L&D Team and Local Management to integrate Brewery L&D activities with the Performance Management System (PMS) and routine reviews
  • Work with providers of Learning Technology and tools to enhance the delivery and accessibility of training materials and programs
  • Work closely with PTM’s and DOM’s to ensure an effective delivery of training
  • Develop a network with other CMBC sites to ensure we are aligned on T&D practices
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders

 

Experience and Key Attributes:

  • Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector, PTLLS (Desired)
  • Previous experience delivering training (Desired)
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Experience working in a training environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident in operational settings
  • Excellent software and IT skills
  • Previous experience working within a team / leading it
  • A good understanding of the Packaging, Brewing and/or Engineering processes
  • A good understanding of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 requirements
  • Flexibility to support the breweries as required
