The Head of Supply Chain is crucial in ensuring the effective management, on a day-to-day basis, of the planning and stock control and customer fulfilment department.  The job holder will build relationships with other departments and 3PI providers.

Role Responsibilities

  • People Management and development including goal setting & appraisals
  • Effective management, on a day-to-day basis, of the planning and Stock control & Customer fulfilment department. Building relationships with other departments and 3Pl providers
  • Driving the continuous improvement agenda for supply chain the UK​
  • Support weekly & monthly operation calls​
  • Identify, Develop and implement Supply Chain improvements and initiatives including enterprise productivity / savings & Sustainability
  • Weekly and Monthly KPI reporting with Gap analysis and corrective actions
  • Oversee the management of the in-market Planning and Stock control team & support the S&OP process​
  • Manage and prepare documents for conducting effectively the Monthly and Quarterly Reviews the 3rd party Logistics Contractors
  • Identify, develop and implement Supply Chain process, driving the collaboration with Key customers

Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years Supply Chain experience at a management level, working with logistics, demand planning and customer fulfilment
  • Highly desirable: previous knowledge of Warehousing, transportation and Supply Chain networks, preferably with experience within the Beer Wine or Spirits industry (BWS), otherwise FMCG
