Highweald Wine Estate was established in 2016 with the planting of 120,000 vines in the stunning Sussex High Weald, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With a mission to create the finest sparkling wines without compromise, we harvested our first crop in 2018.
From the outset, our focus on quality has been unwavering. Our debut release was honoured with multiple accolades at the 2022 International Wine Challenge, including:

We are now seeking an experienced Vineyard Manager to join our team and lead the viticultural operations of the estate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all vineyard operations, including spraying, pruning, canopy management, and harvesting
- Supervise and manage seasonal labour to ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently
- Maintain and repair vineyard trellising; monitor vine health and implement replanting as needed
- Plan and execute annual vineyard programs including frost protection, spray schedules, and canopy management
- Train vineyard staff and ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Manage ground maintenance, pest control, and other agricultural tasks as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience in vineyard management
- Relevant spraying certification
- Legal right to live and work in the UK
