Play an essential role in Digby’s Brand

Brand building is at the centre of everything we do at Digby Fine English. We are seeking a new member of our ambitious team to continue building the success of Digby, by helping to deliver world-class engagement with our customers. The role offers a unique opportunity to bring your own personal touch to the growth of the Digby brand.

Responsibilities

As Digby’s Tasting Room Assistant, you will:

Hospitality

  • Tasting Room Hospitality
  • To be deputy to the Tasting Room Manager
  • Take proactive role in hospitality during special events
  • Help with pairing plates food preparation
  • Cover Tasting Room when Tasting Room Manager is absent
  • Help with Tasting Room operations, restocking, customer service, etc
  • Winery operations – possible for interested candidates to take part in occasional winery processing operations
  • Trading Events – Where needed to help out with trading events to promote the Digby brand

Requirements

Key Skills

 

  • Passion for customer experience and product quality
  • An eye for detail – it’s the little things that make the difference
  • Prior hospitality experience helpful but not required
  • Team player mentality, with flexibility and willingness to take initiative and pitch in
  • Willingness to learn on the job
  • Clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle preferred
  • Wine industry experience helpful but not required
