Supply Chain and Stock Manager
This is a key position within a small, friendly, and fast-paced team. You will manage global purchasing and oversee stock held across multiple locations, balancing efficiency, quality, cost, and risk. The role requires both independent initiative and collaborative teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the timely, accurate, and cost-effective procurement of wines and spirits
- Raise and oversee purchase orders
- Coordinate with suppliers, transport companies, and warehouses for smooth delivery
- Ensure all import, supplier, and freight documentation is accurate and complete
- Monitor and advise on stock levels, managing order lead times
- Reconcile stock movements between the warehouse and Sage
- Conduct monthly (office) and annual (warehouse) stock takes
- Generate management reports on stock and purchasing using Sage and Excel
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Support the Operations Manager and Finance team, including holiday cover
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of supply chain logistics, purchasing or inventory experience, ideally in the alcohol sector
- Sage 200 experience is highly advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential along with strong general IT skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Organised, effective communicator with strong teamwork skills
