The role:

 

The Sales Intelligence Manager is responsible for developing strategies to grow profit in the On Trade channel by expanding customer reach, increasing distribution, and driving innovation. The role is pivotal in shaping the commercial strategy by collaborating with sales and cross-functional teams, managing contact strategies, and leading end-to-end reporting on performance metrics like category performance and sales volume. It suits tech-savvy professionals with sales experience who are looking to transition into a more strategic, analytical position with strong exposure to senior leadership and cross-regional teams.

 

ABI is an office-based company, with team members working on-site five days a week. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Define contact strategy and optimize field structure and sales processes.
  • Support sales growth through new business, distribution expansion, and segment development.
  • Lead Business Intelligence and deliver insights to guide commercial strategy.
  • Implement and manage sales systems (e.g. CRM, BI tools).
  • Track KPIs, performance, and drive efficiency improvements.
  • Conduct field audits and support variable compensation/target setting.
  • Benchmark route-to-market models and assess wholesalers.
  • Support sales negotiations and channel strategy execution.
  • Act as a channel expert and brand ambassador.

  • Proven experience in sales strategy and field sales roles
  • Skilled in data analysis, cleansing, modelling, and coding
  • Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement
  • Advanced Excel, Salesforce, and data management proficiency
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and logical thinking
  • Highly organized, results-focused, and deadline-driven
  • Strong internal/external networking and collaboration abilities
  • Ambitious, enthusiastic, and committed to high standards
