Marketing Assistant - Cambridgeshire/Cotswolds

Wine Marketing Assistant (Cambridgeshire or Cotswolds) – Full Time

Private Cellar is searching for a Marketing Assistant to help our existing team to communicate our experience and love of wine to our customers and help to grow the business through customer acquisition, database management, event organisation, copy writing and creative work.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail for analysis and management of data. They will be confident using Microsoft Word and Excel and whilst wine expertise is not required, an interest in the subject is essential, as is a willingness to learn. Some knowledge of design software such as InDesign and Photoshop would be beneficial; basic level French or another European language would also be favourably considered. Full training will be given during the onboarding process.

The Private Cellar team works together at all levels to do whatever is needed to provide an unparalleled wine buying experience for our customers. We all answer the phone, attend tastings, work on individual and team projects and pitch in with administration support during busy times and therefore the successful applicant will have a can-do attitude and the desire to work with a happy, busy, sociable team.

Private Cellar is an independent wine merchant based in Wicken, Cambridgeshire with a sales office in The Cotswolds. The company was established in 2005 and is made up of a hard-working group of friends and wine lovers who sell fine wine to our customers in a friendly and personal way.

Hours: 8.30am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday
