Cellar Hand/Cider Maker

We are looking for an experienced Cellar Hand/Cider Maker (Full time, permanent)

Responsibilities include:

Pressing and making over 1 million litres of base cider at harvest time (Aug – Dec); Racking liquid into tanks; On-going care of base cider; Working in the orchards; Cider tours/tasting & other farm events;

Requirements of the role:

Knowledge of fermentation & yeasts; Experience with basic lab equipment and cleaning;​ Experience with Forklifts are desirable but not essential; Relevant industry training certificates are beneficial but not essential; Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Need to be:

Passionate about the outdoors; Enthusiastic & self-motivated; Work alone & be a team player; Excellent time keeping; Reliable with a positive can-do attitude; Able to show evidence of the Right to Work in the UK.

We Offer:

Salary: £28,000 – £34,000 p.a (depending on experience/qualifications)​

28 days holiday (inc. Bank Holidays)
