ABOUT THE ROLE
The Category Development Manager owns multiple product categories across key customers, driving strategic growth initiatives set
at a corporate level and developing some in specific areas aligning to the organisation’s overall performance goals. Tailoring these to
each customer’s organisational values and corporate plan.
Directly responsible key off-trade beer accounts, and supporting the broader category function with On Trade, and Distilling adhoc.
This role works cross-functionally across sales, on-trade, distilling and the wider category team.
· Develop category strategy for each account, resulting in financial growth of the organisation
· Dissect complex ‘big data’ outputs on business performance into tangible actionable performance results
· Customer-facing objective sales facilitator
· Strong Presenter- making the complex simple and digestible
Internal:
Sales Director, Sales Channel Heads, Marketing Function, Commercial Finance, Supply Chain, Distilling, Trade Marketing,
External:
Customer Commercial Sales, Customer Space Planning, Media & Marketing Partners (DH) Category Data contract partners.
· Ensure that Health and Safety guidelines and fire
regulations are strictly adhered to at all times
· Comply with safe working practices as defined by

· Complete online or face to face training as and when
required
