About the role

The Brand Director – Cider will lead and oversee the brand development and commercial growth agenda for the C&C Cider portfolio in Great Britain. In leading the brand strategy and managing the implementation of the portfolio, the role at its heart will focus on the delivery and growth of our key cider brands and the portfolio/innovation plans for future growth. Cider is at the core of our strategy and the role and output will play a pivotal part in the success of C&C Group GB.

You will report directly to the GB Marketing Director and will have a team of rising stars to coach, develop and engage within the business. The role demands a transparent open attitude, and a collaborative winning spirit. Creative flair is a must, inspiring agencies and demanding best in class work for our brands is a priority and will be key to success in the role.

C&C have a wide portfolio of cider brands including Magners & Orchard Pig and you will be responsible for the NOW and the EXCITING FUTURE of the cider category within C&C GB.

Role Responsbilities

• Cider portfolio management and development, including owned and partner brands.
• Innovation strategy for category growth and execution.
• Delivery of Cider/Brand KPI’s including budget management.
• Consumer & Customer marketing plans and development
• Media strategy and optimal content development and evaluation.
• Developing best in class brand communication and execution.
• Brand partnerships strategy and delivery.
• Development and management of high performing team

About you

• Curious and creative with exceptional flair and experience in building brands
• Highly skilled in consumer marketing, developing portfolios and brands within a complex business environment.
• Commercially astute and savvy to managing a portfolio P&L with an objective of optimising growth.
• A master at stakeholder management with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Awareness of the end to end impact of initiatives and effect on P&L.
• A whizz in commercial brand planning, forecasting, market research, agency relationship management and all consumer touch points.
• A proven people manager who is passionate about developing high performing teams.
• Strategically minded, with a passion for ideation and ability to turn data into insight to drive growth.
