If you have an enthusiasm for wine, people and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone, this role is for you.

The role of brand ambassador is fundamental, as one of the faces of the business we need someone who lives and breathes wine and communication. We are recruiting an individual who is able to extend the already popular face of folc to new customers, but also keep our existing customers engaged and provide them with the support they need to drive volume of our product in their venues.

Role & Responsibilities

Job Title: Brand Ambassador

Reporting to: Head of Distribution & Sales

Salary: Competitive + commission bonus + generous option plan

Place of Work: Remote working with 3 days per week in trade with the understanding there will be 1 day a week with your line manager in London or other predetermined location. Our registered office is near Tunbridge Wells (Kent) and you will be required to travel to this location for monthly team meetings.

Responsibilities:

● Identify new relevant prospects and opportunities for folc, convert prospects and opportunities to customers:
○ Number of prospective calls per week: 40+
○ Number of customer visits per week: 10+ and increasing throughout peak season (March-September)
○ Number of sales: 300 cases per month in peak season;
● Formulate, develop, and maintain strong communication with customers. Build relationships with our new customers, maintain relationships and work with pre-existing customers motivating their teams to sell our product;
● Identify opportunities with trade to conduct activations to drive volume and exposure of folc;
● Represent the brand to the customers in a positive manner at all times. Be the face of folc at relevant sales and marketing trade shows and events, meetings and activations;
● Ensure folc is front and centre in key stores with POS and stock on show;
● Monitor and understand the brand’s movement, pricing, and distribution patterns;
● Help install marketing displays with predetermined stores and activations;
● Work with the marketing department to understand our goals/objectives to help shape the marketing strategy; and
● Provide insights and communicate relevant feedback from any key stakeholders

Essential experience:

● Communication and relationship management
● Historically worked in customer facing and/or sales role
● Understanding of the sales process & commercial awareness of the wine and sales industry
● A keen interest in wine (WSET 2 and above are a great addition to your skill set)
● Computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office inc. excel & entry knowledge of how to use a CRM
● UK Driving license and Right to Work in the UK (essential)
