We are a family owned Wine & Whisky group with a central London office. We have a strong focus on regional specialisation and partnerships with independent producers. As a small and collaborative team, we value flexibility, initiative, and a hands-on approach. Every member of our team plays an important role in keeping the business running smoothly — and we’re looking for someone who thrives in a varied, dynamic environment.

The Role
This is a hybrid, multi-faceted position ideal for someone who enjoys being the organisational backbone of a business. While bookkeeping and operational oversight are at the core, the role naturally touches many parts of the company, from day-to-day office support to coordinating logistics and maintaining internal processes. No two days are the same, and a chameleon-like ability to shift between tasks is key.

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including daily bookkeeping, reconciliations, invoicing, and payment tracking

  • Support month-end processes and liaise with external accountants when required

  • Oversee operational workflows to ensure smooth running of the business

  • Coordinate shipments and stock movements, working closely with suppliers, warehouses, and logistics partners

  • Prepare shipping or administrative documentation as needed

  • Keep the office organised and functioning effectively, ensuring the team has what they need to operate efficiently

  • Assist with general administrative duties, problem-solving, and ad-hoc tasks that arise in a small, busy team

About You

  • Strong experience in bookkeeping and operational/administrative support

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

  • Comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities and shifting priorities

  • Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative — someone who enjoys pitching in wherever needed

  • Confident communicator who can interact effectively with internal and external partners

  • Familiarity with Xero, Google Workspace, MSOffice. Experience using The Wine Hub an advantage but not essential.

  • An interest in the wine and whisky world an advantage

What We Offer

  • A close-knit, supportive working environment

  • A role with genuine variety and scope

  • Opportunities to learn about and work within the premium wine and whisky industry

  • Competitive salary depending on experience
