Assistant Winemaker - Hampshire

The Grange Hampshire Jobs

Assistant Winemaker – Hampshire

Following last year’s completion of a purpose built winery, an exciting opportunity has arisen to become a key member of The Grange team in creating site specific wines for both its own vineyard and a handful of equally quality-focused clients. Reporting to the Head Winemaker, the Assistant Winemaker will be responsible for completing winemaking operations from harvest to dispatch while helping to ensure an efficient, safe and compliant winery.

The role will commence this summer and begin with harvest preparations at the new winery, which overlooks the South Downs National Park. The Grange Estate where the vineyard and winery are located belongs to the Baring family and sits 7 miles to the east of Winchester in the southern county of Hampshire. At the centre of the broadly arable estate sits a semi-ruined, neo-Classical mansion that hosts a 5-week opera festival in the Summer.
