Main Purpose of the Role
Join our passionate team at Friarwood and play a key role in delivering a first-class customer experience both in-store and online. You’ll be part of a dynamic, multi-store team, contributing to the growth and success of our premium wine and spirits business.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer tailored recommendations to Friarwood’s customers, sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm for wines and spirits.
- Keep the shop impeccably presented and well-stocked to create a welcoming environment.
- Manage the smooth logistics of e-commerce orders, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Support Retail Managers with the daily operations of the business, contributing to its seamless running.
- Work with the Marketing team to implement creative marketing strategies and design standout seasonal displays.
Key Objectives
- Help achieve ambitious monthly sales targets across our multi-site retail business.
- Build and grow our loyal customer base, both in-store and online.

Additional Information
This role is at the heart of our retail operations, so weekend work will be required and occasional evenings to support events. You’ll also need to be flexible to cover shifts across our London locations.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive, and people-focused, with the ability to balance customer engagement with a clear focus on achieving business goals.
Essential Skills
- Fluent English.
- Solid understanding of wines and spirits.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Salary: Starting at £24,000 per annum, based on experience.
