On Trade National Account Executive - South/London Based

Key Aims and Responsibilities:
To support the On Trade National Accounts team to ensure that customer accounts run smoothly,
with all contractual obligations fulfilled and training plans designed and delivered within agreed
timeframes.
• Customer liaison for a defined customer base in conjunction with the national on trade
account managers
• To attend key customer events as required by the customer and directed by the national on
trade account managers.
• Deliver operational tasks of the agreement/ contract including managing and maintaining
customer wine lists
• To liaise with both the customer and the shipping and buying teams to ensure stock forecast
and requirements are communicated in a suitable time frame
• Communicate with customer any issues or anticipated delays with stock.
• Inform relevant parties, i.e. account manager and supply chain of any issues or updates
• To ensure that you keep yourself up to date at all times as in regards to vintage changes, out
of stock situations and major new listings and de-listings.
• Responsible for organising agreed training bespoke and WSET programmes as detailed in
any customer agreement. This training to be delivered making full use of the Hallgarten
Training team where appropriate
• To manage and maintain customer pricing on both NAVISION and customer ordering portals
(e.g. Procure)
• To ensure that your product knowledge is sufficient to be able to converse comfortably with
customers and prospects at all levels.
• To manage your time carefully and efficiently and develop a plan that ensures you have time
to fulfil each customer requirement.
• To comply with the Company’s procedures in all respects
• Where required, to host wine dinners and events to contractual obligations to clients

• WSET Diploma or Higher Certificate (and keen to gain Diploma qualification) essential, as a
confidence to impart product and industry knowledge to a minimum standard of WSET
Higher Certificate
• Experience of sales support and or account management is ideal.
• Experience of catering/hotel/ restaurant industry is an advantage.
• Experience of designing and delivering training programmes is desirable.

Additional Information
This is a Full-time position with regular UK travel with overnight stays and occasional weekends
when required. You will also be required to Occasional travel abroad and to work on site at key
customer events.
